The Dawn Center has made many efforts in the community to create awareness of domestic violence through education and partnerships. We work very closely with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office and other community agencies to raise awareness as well as through cross training. A lot of our training is state required but the Dawn Center strives to develop new and innovative programs to facilitate community awareness. Domestic violence has dramatically risen this past year and we need the community more than ever to continue to provide the services needed. I would like to thank all of the businesses and individuals that support the Dawn Center throughout the year.
