This is the second annual event that is the brainchild of a ninth-grade student who had to complete a project for school by giving back to a local non-profit. Dawn Center is thankful that Alyssa chose them for last years event that brought in almost $5k in donations. Alyssa and her family have decided to make this an annual event. With the help of Dawn Center staff and community partners, we have changed up the event and will be doing an activity (described below) while the riders go to 5 locations.

"In Their Shoes" is an activity designed for learning about domestic violence. Participants move, do, think and experience the lives of battered women. It is a similar experience as the choose your own adventure stories. Riders will pick up their story at the registration stop. They will go to a total of 5 stops, ending at the after-party. The after-party will have 50/50 chance drawing, live music, beer and wine for purchase, wine tasting, and food trucks.
